Marloes X Allegro

Mandy is a chestnut filly with a star and white mane and tail. She has a very friendly disposition. Her dam is an imported mare sired by Hemingway. Marloes has been show across the midwest in several hitch and halter classes, and has been used as a broodmare. Marloes was a National Champion and a wheel mare for Brian Winkler. Marloes also serves as a wheel and cart mare in our hitch and show string. She was among the top 10 in the Lady's cart at the 2006 Indiana State Fair. Marloes was also part of the third place four horse hitch and forth six place hitch at the 2007 Indiana State Fair, and the winning four horse hitch, unicorn, and six horse hitch at the 2007 Illinois State Fair. Marloes stands 58 inches tall and Mandy's sire, Allegro, stands 59 inches. Mandy is DNA tested and registered with the American Haflinger Registry. She is eligible for the Hoosier Sire futurity. and does not react to traffic. She is working on canter transitions and leg-yielding, and has
started over poles and small fences at the trot, which she does willingly. In addition, she is a very striking dark chocolate color with near white mane and flaxen tail. Everyone who comes to visit the farm picks her out immediately. She is well-mannered and exceptionally personable to be around. She will make an excellent child's or amateur's mount.

Quebec is well-started under saddle and in harness. She has been ridden and driven on the
road and in traffic. She has three good gaits and a round, correct jump that will make her an
excellent dressage or eventing prospect for an adult or a child.
The sire of Quebec is Afghan II, who was the World Grand Champion Stallion in 1990 and who sired the
World Grand Champion Stallion and Mare in 1995. Quasti, the dam, is also the dam of the Gold rated
mare Quoni and the Grand dam of the Gold rated mare Quarda.
Quebec is currently not in foal, but the purchaser may choose to breed her to any Tudor Oaks Stallion.
